The Ouroboros and the Torus, two powerful objects with many similarities.
The Ouroboros is one of the oldest mystical symbols in world. It represents a serpent, or a dragon eating its own tail.
This symbol is seen for the very first time in Ancient Egypt.
Later on, the Greek magicians and alchemists adopted this symbol. The Greeks were the ones who gave it the name Ouroboros. It’s derived from the Greek words οὐρά (oura), which means tail. And the word βορά (bora), which means food.
In short, the Ouroboros symbolizes the cycle of life. This means, life, death and rebirth. But also the infinity and immortality of this cycle.
It’s the cyclic Nature of the Universe: creation out of destruction, Life out of Death. The ouroboros eats its own tail to sustain its life. This, in an eternal cycle of renewal. Very similar to the Phoenix, from the Greek mythology.
Besides Ancient Egyptians, this symbol is also used by many other civilizations. For example the ancient Greeks used it.
Plato described the Ouroboros as the first living mythological beast of the Universe. Even the Aztec serpent God Queztacoatl was depicted similarly. Just like the Chinese alchemical dragons, they both have similar shapes and meaning.
We believe that the Ancient Egyptians used the Ouroboros, to indicate that a certain person was incarnated multiple times.
The Torus is one of the oldest structures in existence. Just like the Vesica Piscis, without it nothing could exist. It’s shape, however, is quite simple. It’s toroidal shape is similar to the shape of a donut.
There are many mathematically correct Tori. But the Torus that contains zero point energy, doesn’t look much like a donut.
Instead of having a giant hole in the middle, it has a vertex in its center. This Torus folds in upon itself. All the points along its surface, converge together into a zero-dimensional point at the center, called the Vertex.
The torus allows a vortex of energy to form. This form of energy bends back along itself and re-enters itself. It ‘inside-outs’, continuously flowing back into itself. Thus the energy of a torus is continually refreshing itself. But also continually influencing itself.
This shape is commonly found in nature, often in the form of energy. Recently, they discovered that our hearts have an electromagnetic field. This energy field is shaped like a torus. Just like the magnetic field of the Earth.
But not only that, also Wormholes, black holes and white holes are shaped like a torus. Then again, not only energy fields are shaped this way. But matter itself as well. For example a fetus. For a short period of time, the mouth and anus of the fetus form a torus.
Of course, both symbols and shapes have similarities. Both are about renewal of energies and rebirth. Once combined, they strengthen each others healing energies.
We combine the Ouroboros and the torus together with 34 rings of the Fibonacci sequence. These rings gradually become smaller with the golden ratio.
