Deltohedron Earrings

The Deltohedron is officially not a part of the Platonic Solids. But its shape is based on the Dodecahedron, which is a part of the Platonic Solids. Mathematically seen, the Deltohedron is part of the Trapezohedra family.

The Deltohedron knows many different shapes and forms. Some of these shapes are also found in nature, mainly as growth patterns of gemstones and minerals. The shape we used for these earrings is a Pentagonal Trapezohedron. This shape can be decomposed into two pentagonal pyramids with a Dodecahedron in the middle.

Its name, the Deltohedron, is often confused with the Deltahedron. Which means any shape with triangular (Δ delta) faces. Such as the Octahedron, Tetrahedron and Icosahedron (and a few others), which are part of the Platonic Solids.

Since its shape is based on the Dodecahedron, it also inherits most of the spiritual features of the Dodecahedron.
With the addition that the energies are more directed upwards and downwards. Connecting you more firmly with the ground and the Universe.

Dodecahedron

Since the Deltohedron Inherits most of the spiritual features of its base shape, it’s interesting to know what the Dodecahedron has to offer.
To start, the dodecahedron resonates with the element Aether and with the Throat Chakra, Third Eye Chakra and the Crown Chakra. The Throat Chakra represents sound, wisdom and creation. The Third Eye Chakra represents knowledge, dignity, perception and intuition. And last, the Crown Chakra represents balance and oneness with the Universe.
